I'm currently sore and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I've been jogging/walking about two miles for the past few days. But I'm not (knocking on wood) stopping. And hopefully five days next week and the week after, and so on and so on. Hopefully the distance will increase as well, but right now, it's just something getting off the couch.

The four items that led to this; in a particular order:
1) While helping Keith last Saturday, I was sweating more than I should for the work I was doing.
2) Chip Reese died last week.
3) I want to lose ten pounds.
4) I'm not sharing.

I feel very motivated about this and I'm feeling optimistic that this is a life change, just like quiting smoking was this past August. Of course, it wouldn't surprise me if I was hit by a truck tomorrow while out for my post work jog. (Please let this not not be my last post.)

I'm writing this while watching the Petrino press conference. I don't think it's possible for him to kiss more ass. I give him three years before he bolts for somewhere else and I think that's generous.

DeAngelo Hall just laid the wood to the floor.

"It's Coach Petrino's loss. He can go down to...Arkansas and you know they're not a great team in the SEC anyways. They got to go through a lot of things and... a lot of other teams like LSU and Georgia and you know teams that are established in the SEC so like I said; If I saw him in the street I would't have anything to say to him.
